Athlete Mental Health Co

  • Counseling is the cornerstone of our work in helping athlete’s grow towards health and overcome difficult mental/emotional challenges.

You might be facing the unique trials of an olympian or professional athlete, balancing life as a collegiate or high school student-athlete, or navigating the difficulties of youth sport, our team is here to help.

This includes mental health counseling services, mental performance consultation, and mental wellness coaching.

  • Sometimes you might want something more direct and goal oriented. Coaching fits that style and affords the opportunity to work with our staff regardless of location.

  • Teams have dynamics that fluctuate and shift over seasons as cultures develop within programs. Psychoeducation, team workshops, and group consultations can provide a source for developing interpersonal effectiveness, emotionally healthy environments, and move a team towards cohesive mental strength.

  • Athlete Mental Health Co comprises of a growing team of mental health clinicians, admins, and counseling interns who work together to improve the mental and emotional health of athletes.

As a group we are always improving our professional competencies and striving to develop our skillset to better care for the needs of the athletes we serve.

  • Athletes need support now more than ever with the mounting pressures of competitive play. We seek to challenge mental health stigma within athletic departments and athletic organizations and grow communities on college campuses to aid in supporting one another through tough circumstances.

We also strive to develop a professional community of clinicians, which includes a monthly consultation group for counselors who specialize in athlete mental health concerns.
